Private practice/contractor agreement

  • $200 an hour (weekdays) and $250 an hour on weekends and public holidays

LATROBE PRIORITY PRIMARY CARE CENTRE (PPCC)

Care when it’s urgent, but not an emergency

The Latrobe Priority Primary Care Centre (PPCC) provides GP-led care for non-life-threatening conditions, without the need for people to visit an emergency department. The Latrobe PPCC provides immediate high-quality care for patients with non-life threatening injuries or illnesses. The PPCC is supported by a highly-skilled team of independent doctors and nurses.

The Latrobe PPCC accepts walk-ups, referrals and pre-booked appointments, ensuring vital Emergency Department resources are freed up for patients with more critical needs.

We are seeking a number of General Practitioner's to join this new program. As a GP in this facility, you will provide high level or urgent clinical care as part of a priority primary care team involved in the provision of general critical care expertise and skills to a wide range of patients/clients.

We are currently open for 16 hours per day, 7 days per week – from 7.30am to 11:30pm.

In regards to working arrangements, we are very flexible around your wants and needs and we can offer both full time and part time hours to suit your work life balance needs. 

What we're looking for:

  • Vocationally registered GP
  • AHPRA Registration with no restrictions
  • A current Working with Children Check (employee)
  • A Victorian drivers licence.

If you are not vocationally registered but have extensive experience working in ED / critical emergency care - you are strongly encouraged to apply.
