What you’ll be doing in this role?

As a Dentist, you will report to the dental manager and work with the dental team, where you’ll apply your talents and efforts in helping the community members who need it, not just those who can afford it.

The Dentist is responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of high quality clinical duties within the scope of publicly funded dental services and by negotiation, private services. The position requires excellent interpersonal skills coupled with a focus on teamwork and effective time management. A demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development of self and others is also essential.

 

Your work will include:

  • Adopt current evidence-based clinical pathways, practice guidelines or procedures.
  • Assess and manage clients of high risk of oral disease, provide emergency treatments, restorative care and more advanced dental procedures within scope of practice and experience.

Who we’re looking for:

  • A relevant qualification in Dental
  • AHPRA registration or equivalent professional membership/registration
  • A current Victorian Drivers Licence
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • A current Victorian Radiation Licence
