The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Services directorate operates two programs in partnership with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), these two programs are outlined below.

Local Area Coordination (LAC)

LAC services assist eligible participants to engage with the NDIS and support participants to create and implement their plans, along with providing capacity building activities and information, linkages and support for people not eligible for the NDIS. We work to create opportunities for people with a disability to participate socially and economically in their broader community.

Our LAC programs are made up of the below:

• Local Area Coordination (LAC) Service – Wimmera South West
• Local Area Coordination (LAC) Service – Barwon
• Local Area Coordination (LAC) Service – Ovens Murray
• Local Area Coordination (LAC) Service – Outer Gippsland
• Local Area Coordination (LAC) Service – Inner Gippsland
• Local Area Coordination (LAC) Service – Inner East Melbourne
• Local Area Coordination (LAC) Service – Outer East Melbourne
• Local Area Coordination (LAC) Service – Southern Melbourne
• Local Area Coordination (LAC) Service – South East Sydney

Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI)

Early Childhood Early Intervention is how the NDIS supports children, between the ages of 0 to 6, with a disability or developmental delay. ECEI services undertake a holistic assessment of children and their families. In delivering ECEI we assist families to determine the right supports to help meet their individual goals.

Our ECEI programs are made up of the below:

• Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) Service – Central Highlands
• Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) Service – Wimmera South West
• Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) Service – Southern Melbourne, Inner & Outer Gippsland
• Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) Service – Inner & Outer East Melbourne and Access & Coordination
• Community Engagement
