Multicultural Health Connector

  • $43.0771 to $46.3495 per hour depending on qualifications and experience

We are looking for a passionate professional with experience working in the Gippsland primary health care sector and/or with Multicultural Communities to improve multicultural population health outcomes, improve the health equity of multicultural people and improve consumer experience of care.


The role provides people from multicultural backgrounds, particularly non-English speaking backgrounds, with support to access and navigate the Australian health care system. This will take place in individual client sessions, as well as group sessions with community groups, leaders and community members. Additionally, the role supports health care providers in becoming more culturally sensitive and competent. The service will be based in Morwell with travel across the Gippsland catchment expected.

To be successful, you will require;

  • A tertiary degree, preferably in Public Health, Health Promotion, Social work or similar
  • A current Working with Children Check
