We are looking for passionate Carer Support Coordinator professionals who are looking to grow and further develop their career with an organisation dedicated to giving back to the community.
The Carer Support Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that flexible respite services are planned and implemented for clients who are assessed as eligible under the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) guidelines.
This role involves working closely with carers to assess their needs, provide information and resources, and connect them with relevant support services. The Carer Support Coordinator will also collaborate with other community organisation and service providers to enhance the overall support available to carers.
To be successful, you will require;
- Empathy and great listening skills
- Organisational and planning skills
- The ability to communicate effectively
- A sound understanding of the needs of carers
- A current Working with Children Check
