Podiatrist (Graduate Program)

  • Total Remuneration Package of $88,793 per annum including superannuation and the estimated benefit of full optional salary packaging, depending on qualifications and experience.

Latrobe Community Health Service has introduced a graduate program, supporting graduates to make the transition from student to confident health professional!

The 12 month program provides graduates an opportunity to move across multiple allied health programs within the organisation, to help you identify where you feel you fit as you continue your career! At Latrobe Community Health Service we’re committed to ensuring that our graduates receive the support and tools they need to become confident, reflective and effective interdisciplinary clinicians.

As part of the Graduate Program you will have access to:

  • Comprehensive onboarding
  • On site supervision with access to a senior clinician every day
  • Interprofessional CPD opportunities within your first year
  • Upwards of 12 hours of interprofessional education within your first year
  • Minimum of 10 days interprofessional exposure to alternative programs within LCHS
  • 1:1 mentoring with clinical leads
  • Career Progression opportunities

As a Podiatrist in:

IPHS Central you will be working onsite within a multidisciplinary team. Our Podiatrist’s support clients whose needs vary from general care to high risk foot management. You will also be involved in our high risk foot clinic, where you will be working with Advanced Practice Podiatrist, Diabetes Nurse Educators and Dieticians to provide comprehensive care for patients with neurovascular foot complications to improve would healing time, and improving our client outcomes. As a member of our team, you will have access to a team with diverse allied health knowledge to support you in your new graduate role.

IPHS Gippsland you will be working onsite within a multidisciplinary team. Our Podiatrist’s support clients whose needs vary from general care to high risk foot management. As a member of our team, you will have access to a team with diverse allied health knowledge to support you in your new graduate role.

To be successful, you will require;

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Podiatry
  • AHPRA Registration
  • A Working with Children Check 

LCHS will offer the following relocation package for the suitable applicant: 

Interstate applicants: 

  • Up to 4 weeks accommodation;
  • $500 relocation;
  • Negotiated after hours car use for a period of 4 weeks.

International applicants:

  • Up to 4 weeks accommodation;
  • $1500 relocation;
  • Negotiated after hours car use for a period of 4 weeks.
