Located in Morwell, 12 month Contract Agreement

  • Hours tailored your own schedule, within the opening times of Headspace.
  • Work along-side skilled mental health professionals
  • $200 an hour

What you’ll be doing in this role:

Are you looking for an opportunity to have a profound impact on the lives of young people?

Headspace has 90 GP’s working in centres across the country and we are looking for one to join the Morwell centre.

You will also be a part of the LCHS wider GP team. You’ll join a supportive, multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses, psychologists, social workers, youth workers, family support workers and administration/customer service extraordinaire. Every team member plays a vital role in providing 12 – 25 year olds comprehensive physical, psychological and social care.

 

About you:

  • You are passionate about working with young people
  • You are non-judgemental and inclusive
  • You can work onsite at least 1 day per week
  • You will engage with headspace GP professional development 
  • You will share care with headspace staff
  • You are a VR GP

 

What’s on offer: 

  • One year contract
  • $200 an hour
  • You can choose the day (Monday to Friday), hours and tailor your own schedule, within the opening times of Headspace. 
  • You will have access to a wide range of resources and training from Australia's leading youth mental health organisation. 
  • You will work alongside skilled mental health professional offering support each day.
