Harm Reduction Worker

We are looking for a passionate professional who is looking for a diverse and important role with an organisation dedication to giving back to the community.


The Harm Reduction Worker will work closely with the AOD, counselling and community development teams. You will reach out to service users and community workers to increase knowledge and awareness about safer substance use practices including operating the needle and syringe program and delivering education about opioid overdose response.

To be successful, you will require;

  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • Demonstrated understanding of AOD client treatment service provision, including case coordination.
  • Capacity to reach under represented service user groups with a harm reduction approach.
