We are looking for a highly motivated Registered Nurse who is looking to make a difference in the lives of local children. Someone who is looking to grow and further develop their career with an organisation dedicated with giving back to the community.
As a Community Nurse Outreach (In Schools), you will report to the Manager Paediatric and Youth Hub and work with the paediatric nursing team. You will be place-based into a school within the Latrobe Valley, where you work with the school wellbeing team to ensure that every child receives the services they require to be able to flourish.
To be successful, you will require;
- Tertiary qualification in Nursing and valid Ahpra registration;
- Latrobe Community Health Service complies with infectious disease control and immunisation requirements under legislation. This position is classified as a Health Care Worker A. Evidence of immunisation history and any mandated government vaccinations e.g. COVID 19 must be provided prior to confirmed appointment unless otherwise medically exempt (evidence of medical exemption must be supplied)
- A Victorian drivers licence and employee Working with Children Check.
