We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving education outcomes for children in preschool settings.
The Social and Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner in the School Readiness Program works in a multidisciplinary team that focus on capacity building preschool educators and parents to improve the learning environment for preschool children. The main focus areas for the role are developing positive relationships, social behaviours and the social and emotional wellbeing / development of the preschool children. This is achieved by either providing education to preschool educators/families, providing demonstration/coaching sessions at the preschool, developing resources to assist in the development of social and emotional skills. It is important that the successful candidate work with a trauma informed lens.
LCHS provide school readiness services across inner Gippsland so there is scope to be based at various offices.
Full training will be provided to the successful candidate to enable them to be successful in this role.
