What you’ll be doing in this role?
We are seeking a motivated Grade 3 Podiatrist to join our team, if you have passion to improve the health of our community, excellent leadership qualities and experience, then we want to hear from you. LCHS has a busy Podiatry service and we are confident you will find job satisfaction with our diverse client base.
Due to the collaborative nature of the service, this role provides the successful candidate the opportunity to work across both community and acute hospital settings to support the High Risk Foot Service and improve diabetes-related foot disease outcomes for the region.
At LCHS Podiatry service you can walk into full clinic days, with high demand for services readily available.
Our integrated service model will continually expose you to other health professionals. It means you’ll provide your podiatry expertise as part of a holistic solution for patients.
As an IPHS Podiatrist you will be supported by and report to a Team Leader as well as supported by the Manager of Integrated Primary Health Service.
Your work will include:
- The opportunity to be involved in a collaborative high risk foot service between with Latrobe Community Health Service and Latrobe Regional Health.
- Exposure to more learning opportunities to enhance your career, while gaining deep satisfaction from witnessing the results of your talents and effort in your patients.
- Provide services in 1:1 consults, multidisciplinary clinic settings and groups to a wide range of clients where opportunities for quality improvement and collaboration is encouraged
- Be a senior member of the team to provide supervision and guidance through well developed leadership skills
What we’re looking for:
- Victorian driver’s licence
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee)
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Bachelor’s degree in Podiatry
- Current first aid and CPR certificate
