What you’ll be doing in this role?

In this role, you will work as a Community Outreach Nurse within a primary school in the Latrobe Valley, supporting the Paediatric & Youth Hub team. You will collaborate with school wellbeing staff to deliver early intervention nursing support that improves health, wellbeing, and educational engagement for children and families.

 

Your work will include:

  • Delivering school-based nursing and early intervention support to children and families
  • Working collaboratively with school wellbeing teams and multidisciplinary health staff
  • Identifying and responding to health, developmental, and wellbeing needs of students

What we’re looking for:

  • Tertiary qualification in Nursing
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • A current Victorian Driver’s Licence
  • A current Working with Children Check (Employee)
  • Experience or interest in paediatric, community, or school-based nursing (desirable)
