What you’ll be doing in this role?

As a Community Outreach Nurse - Childcare, you will work directly with early childhood educators, parents, carers and local services to support children aged 0-5 years. This unique role focuses on identifying developmental and health needs early, connecting families to support and creating a strong foundation for lifelong health and wellbeing.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver place - based health and wellbeing initiatives in early learning settings
  • Conduct developmental screenings and health assessments to identify needs early
  • Support families to navigate and access health and allied support services
  • Partner with educators to design and implement programs that build healthier, more resilient communities
  • Empower parents and carers through education, engagement and guidance

What we’re looking for:

  • AHPRA Registered Nurse with a passion for child and family health
  • Experience working with children and/or vulnerable families
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A commitment to person-centred, inclusive care
  • A current Victorian Drivers Licence
