As an Early Childhood (EC) Coordinator you will be part of a diverse transdisciplinary team of allied health and early childhood professionals that implement the NDIS Early Childhood (EC) approach, which aims to assist young children aged 0-9 years with developmental delay/concerns or disability, and their families to achieve functional outcomes.
A usual day will involve being out in the community utilising your clinical and professional skills to provide early intervention to children and their families. You will assist families navigate the NDIS and receive funded and non-funded services. You will gather information and provide details to the NDIA on a child’s developmental and functional abilities. You will assist families to link into services in the community, provide advice and build their own capacity to assist their child. You will also work with community and mainstream services such as kindergartens to build their skills and capacity with working with children with developmental concerns.

To be successful, you will require;
- Tertiary qualification in Allied Health such as Occupational therapy, speech pathology, physiotherapy, psychology, or social work.
- Or Qualifications in Early Childhood Education/teaching (diploma or above).
- Eligibility for AHPRA registration or equivalent professional membership/registration
- A current Working with Children Check.
- You will be supported to complete NDIA screening and police check.
- A current Victorian Drivers Licence
- Proficient use of a computer
